What they made believe and now

I have always looked up to you filled with awe and admiration,

But now all I see is a bitter old man filled with hate and lies.

You have always told me to pursue my dreams and never let go,

But now you tell me who cares when we’re all going to die.

You filled me with hope,

But now I feel as if I’m being hanged by a rope.

You gave me something to look forward for with old age,

But now I’m consumed with rage.

Her hands were warm and gentle as she greeted me with a smile,

How could I have ever believed someone who was so vile?

You made me think as if I had a choice,

But you never really did listen to my voice.

Lost and confused you extended your hand,

But when I reached out to it you showed your true colors as it turned to sand.

You knew that this would happen one day,

And now all you could do is keep me at bay

You made me believe you were here for me,

But I know now that you won’t unless I pay your fee.

I know that not all teachers are like you,

But this is my opinion of your three and it fill forever stay true.
