What Should our Teachers be Teaching us?
We all have to go through it in our life. Some people have the time of their lives, some people can not wait to get out. High School is one of the stepping stools to get to where you want to go in life. What does high school really teach us? Our teachers try to prepare us for the "real world", but what should they be teaching us? We learn Math, Science and English, but what is the most important thing they should be teaching us? Why not teach us to enjoy what every we want to do? Or even find out what we enjoy in life, and what we are good at. In high school I learned the more basic type of education we never really explored what I was good at or what I really enjoyed to do. When I got to my senior year of high school I had no idea what I wanted to go to school for. I feel like if my school would have tried harder to find a way to teach me what I enjoyed to do, I would know what I wanted to go to school for. I think if I was to tell my teachers what they should be teaching us would be, to be more creative and help us find what we love to do, instead of the more basic education.
