What Others Don't Know

Facade

a wall we put up

we try not to let others in

we are afraid of what others will think

weather we want to admit it or not

we are all guilty of judging others.

I am aware of this fact

which is why my wall is up so high

my facade so strong

You may ask what do I have to hide?

The list is long

all insecurities

things others can’t know

bright smile

happy eyes

thats what I have to do to get through the day

I want to be a teacher

I like to be artistic

I want to be a writer

Why don’t I tell others?

Judgement

Judgement

Judgement

I am proud of the things I aspire to be

I just don’t want others to taint my pride.
