What One Never Sees

Location

If all one ever sees are the ebony clouds,

One will never see the polished mists

That fall as thunder crashes loud.

If all one ever sees are the violent waves,

One will never see the beautiful ocean,

Just a terrifying, waiting open grave.

If all humanity ever sees are their troubles,

They will never see true, lasting hope,

Only meaningless little baubles.

The only place that one can see far beyond,

The crushing pain and eternal trauma

Is in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
