What makes me feel good

Is watching the sunset

And knowing that

While this day may be gone

Another one will soon come.

What makes me feel good

Is sitting with my family

Watching a movie

Or just talking

Because it means they love me.

What makes me feel good

Is hanging out with my friend

Because she makes me laugh

And shows me

That while life isn’t good right now

There are moments where it is great.

What makes me feel good

Is writing poetry

Or stories

And telling my story through prose.

What makes me feel good

Is reading a nice book

Becoming someone else

And living in a fantasy world.

Is all the simple things in life
