What Love Is

Location

Who are we to say what love is?

Mother to father.

Sister to brother.

Man to woman.

Man to man.

Who are we to say what love is?

It should not make people afraid to be who they are.

It should not be something frowned at from afar.

It is not right or wrong.

Love will always belong.

Who are we to say what love is?

She walked down the street holding her hand.

Another protested, thought he was taking a stand.

Against something that can never be a crime.

It is a battle waged within a closed mind.

Who are we to say what love is?

We have battled for love.

We have died for love.

So why now.

Do we deny love?

Who are we to say what love is?
