What Is Love?

What is love?

Often used to display affection

So many doifferent meanings

It sometimes is used as protection

Most love and move on

And some stick together

Standing strong through each and every storm

For they have learned to adapt to the weather

No relationship is perfect

There will be ups and down

The key through it all

Is occasionally shedding stress like you are losing pounds

Sixty-two years and counting

For your family, a legacy you have built

Still adding flavors to this melting pot

Better yet, memories to an unfinished quilt

From your kids to your grandchildren

To the great-grand and extended

What you two have started

Is a long way from being finished

Looking at the word love

And seeing you two together for so long

It leads me to this final question...

How do you keep the torch burning so strong?
