What lies behind

What lies behind that fair skin
which the Sun kisses passionately?
Love, but not for all
May there be some for me?

Complexion incomparable
This, not myth, but reality.
Air escapes these lungs,
Life seem faint and eyesight blurred.
Legs begin to buckle
And palms releasing moisture.
Actions taken by the body
As the distance seems to close.

Steps taken, tripped,
stumbled, and stunned.
As if an infant that struggles
to take its first steps.

Vision cleared, suddenly.
Figure’s beauty more angelic,
Never ending like the sky.

Take a look!
Waves crash, heart aches,
The heavens begin to cry.

Wedge is driven,
Life now real,
But the love will never die.
