What Is It?
In a breathe,
In a moment,
Without you,
It's like a cage.
I don't know why,
I don't know who,
All I seek,
Is all I hear.
It gets louder,
It gets faster,
Yet it's pounding at my door step.
I let it in,
I won't let it out,
I try to keep it till the end,
But too bad for me,
It escaped to the other side.
When it's gone,
I come to terms,
That left an answer.
The answer for what was let in,
Was not that hard,
Yet not so easy,
It was labeled,
It was known.
What I let in,
Was no other,
Was no thing,
It was the heartbeat of Love.
