What I See

Location

I look in the mirror

You know what I see?

Such an unhappy girl

Staring back at me.

She sits and she stares

Waiting for something to change

Too much darkness to bare

That nests in her brain.

When she does look around

Away from that glass

She only see's statements

Skinny, pretty, sexy, class.

You can't help but see

The pain that lies in her eyes

You might mistake them for stars

But really flames in diguise.
