What He Cannot See

His hazel eyes can only see so much

But he has no clue, i live in this ditch

Where there lies pain and disgust, tears and

perhaps one day it will either break me or mend.

I cannot see it all, for it all lies against my back

Where i refuse to see all the misery one guy gave me.

He left me out of the circle,

he touched me inappropriately

and believe me- he was my favorte music teacher.

What he cannot see is

where is the rest of me?

Where is the heart that I learned to love again?

Where is the kindness that he taught me?

Where is he that broke even me?

He could not see, but only feel

some of the pain I still carry now.
