What is faith?

Hebrews 11:1

11 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for, being convinced of what we do not see. Mark 2:9 which is easier to say: “Your sins are forgiven you

or arise and take up your bed and walk?”

Whether you believe or not ... is not the issue.

Even not what is more difficult ... or what it held in store.

The question was: “What is easier?” and here hinges truth.

Both were easy to Jesus ... but for Pharisees impossible to do.

To speak words is so easy ... to mean them you can fake.

To see them jump in action and that for Heaven’s sake

It takes more than just a tongue ... driven by some reason

just the power of God ... available in all seasons.

What God wills will happen ... so we need to know His Will.

We don’t need to verbalize ... for in silence He instills.

The things we need to live by and the direction we need to travel

for standing still is only good ... to rest for food and meddle.

The question then arises: “What is faith in God?”

It is said to be simple so that a child can explain.

They don’t need to talk ... but are a living example

of what we ought to be ... to live so and again.

Believing that God can do ... and that nothing is impossible

Believing that God will do ... for His Name is immense.

Believing God has done ... what He believes the better

and that is what faith is about relaxed and not intense.
