hurt by her family she ends up finding love

a man that she thought could mend her heart

he was sweet and honest as can be

but her family thought it was too soon

they begged her to put school first 

she decided otherwise and did not

he swept her off her feet

was there through the thick in thin

then one day everything changes

the girl found out she was pregnant

as happy as she is she thought he would be too

his demeanor changed within seconds

he denyed the baby was his and left

she was all alone 

left with nothing but a shattered heart and a baby

she didn't know anything about a baby

she was lost and scared in this world

she went back home and told the news

at first there was yelling and screaming

but then it ceased

her parents realized that she was young 

she made a mistake and was broken

torn by two worlds she began to live again

raising her daughter on her own with her parents

she learned from her mistakes and grew

young and naive, there was little she knew before

now she sees the errors of her ways

she will not make the same mistake again

made it clear to her parents and her daughter

at the end of the day 

when she was left in that room to make a decision

she thought long and hard to herself and asked

"what do I know?"
