Why do you act the way you act?

" I’m only human and I’m not perfect nobody is"

I understand that but is that the excuse humanity only uses

We as women and men make mistakes over and over 

Sorry is a word people use so often like love, trustworthy,

and loyalty but I'm only human is a word that I a refurnished rose without thorns

Don't get me wrong I understand but why is it used so often like the repeated song
