What could have been.

Every morning I awake,

Feeling horrible due to my contstant heartache.

Wishing it would be my last day,

Going through life while in constant decay.

I spend all day thinking of you,

Going to sleep, glad my wish never came true.

I dream of the life we spoke of,

Traveling the world together with the changing skies above.

Only to awake and be ridden of my dreams,

Knowing life is not how it seems.

There is a constant battle fought inside,

Whether I want to die and use this knife,

Mourning, sorrowful, having to abide,

Knowing I lost the love of my life.
