We've Done It Again America

O say can you see
That we've done it again America
We manage to still show "equality"
And treat everyone as "one"
O say can you see
That we are still being picky of what color to choose
From the crayon box.
Over hundreds and hundreds of years
We are still considered as dirt, muck, and scum
Because of our complexion
We are not chameleons America
And that doesn't only go for the
#teamlightskin and #teamdarkskin
O say can you see
That we bathe in this tub of stereotypes
We eat cat, rat, all we eat is rice, own laundromats
We all smoke weed, and have dreads, and like to wear towels on our heads
And the best one of all, you sound white
But you know it's all
Turn down for what

O say can you see
That we are still fighting for the rights to even walk out the house
That we might worry that the car driving pass us
May be the last car I'll ever see
Because drive by are poppin right now
It seem like guns are everywhere
There like rocks.

O say can you see
That people are still fighting to put a ring on it
O say can you see
That we still suffer from racial profiling
O say can you see
That we got kids writing "I Hate America"
O say can't you see
That we are hurting
Because it's the land of freedom
But we still walking in red, white, and blue chains
