This weight is piling on

This weight is piling on my shoulders; I can barely breathe.

Can't you see? I'm downing.

You think that I can do it all, so you'll let me fall.

Your faith in me was misplaced. The walls of this space

Are closing in.

I'm screaming, but you can't hear. I'm begging for help, but you won't come near.

How am I supposed to be the one who makes this family proud?

Your pride is choking me, Everything's getting too loud.

I wish I could drown

Make all this weight go down.

But, as for now, I'll do my best. I'll complete my quest

So maybe this weight will one day let me rest.
