Weak knees

Sun, 05/17/2020 - 14:21 -- Kbliss

I know you are not here for me

I kneeled and prayed to the trees

the trees only my lips had kissed

whalst you kissed her silhotte

she was missed, but not quite gone

You had known me long

so you invited me into your arms

I fell foolishly, for years a needle

in my eyes for my need for you

I gave in immediately

You set a fire in me, now its ashes

burn me to salty tears enough to build a ocean

You went on a drive by the ocean

and laughed at my silly tears

you layed her down on the sand

you fitted perfectly.

I made up my mind

I won't be on the side

I won't fall down

No, i won't give in

I will leave with a smile on my face

No, I wont have weak knees

Don't forget me.

I thought You were the one.
