From the time we are born, we learn.

We learn to walk, speak, eat.

We learn right from wrong.

We learn more about ourselves and our world every day.

We go to school and we learn.

We learn to listen and do what we’re told.

We learn to sit and repeat.

We learn to get the grade.

We learn less about ourselves and our place in the world every day.

We leave school and we wish.

We wish we could remember that lecture.

We wish knew what we liked.

We wish we knew what we were good at.

We wish we had learned more.

We wish we knew who we were.

That A+ doesn’t mean much anymore.
