we women

We are women of colour

living in a world of terror

We sometimes feel inferior

Useful only for our exterior

We are handicapped because of our sex

by old white men with crazy god complex

men of colour treat us no better

We are side pieces that do not matter

We are oppressed and if we dare protest

our voices are suppressed

we are reprimanded

when we do not acquiesce to things demanded

so your wish is our command

Our personal ambitions be damned
