We Want You!

Uncle Sam said "We want you!",

To fight for us across the unfamiliar lands.

To hike the treaturous mountains above our Expectations,

And submerge ourselves deep under the waves of Patritism.

To fight the war head on with the knowledge of Freedom,

And to be proud with the sacrifices of loved ones for Honor.

Uncle Sam didn't say "We want you!...unless"

Unless you're under the height of the "made in China" measurement stick,

Unless you weigh under the statistical and sterotypical american.

Unless you're gender says fighting for freedom before 1917,

Unless you're not the cookie-cutter copy of "all american" pie.

We all want the American Dream,

A dream taught to us through emotions.

Patriotism,

Freedom,

Honor.

Emotions everyone can comprehend,

no matter the differences,

Height,

Weight,

Gender.

And yet we seperate ourselves on what should bring us together

Liberty and Independence.
