"We Just Might"
I remember a room with blue walls
A girl who stood tall
Towering, brilliant sail
White skin and white hair.
I remember being small
Her young hands holding my younger ones.
Taking that call.
I remember it all.
I remember her singing
And telling me I could, too.
I remember all the men
I remember you.
I remember her saying, "We'll go to the beach, dear."
So I packed my bags as time drew near
She pulled my curtains back at night,
Looked at me; sighed.
I remember her saying,
"We just might."
