We express
We love, we live, we experience,
We question, we judge, we infer,
We hate, we cry, we die,
However, no matter what,
We express.
But then, why is it so hard to express?
Simple, we are human.
And we judge,
We are harsh and evil.
Yet, caring and loving,
Bold and daring,
But mostly, strong-headed and self-consious.
We question why
Why our hair is not the way we want,
Why our parents won't buy us that phone,
Why that person doesn't like us the way we like them,
Why the teacher gives us homework,
Why we don't have any friends,
Why we are still alive.
We hate ourselves and others,
For the names they call us,
For the rumors they start about us,
For the things they say to us,
For the things we say to ourselves,
For the thoughts we think about ourselves
For the thoughts we do to ourselves.
We die,
From life being life,
From people being people,
From thoughts being thoughts,
From actions being actions,
From saddness being saddness,
From us being us.
We cry,
From the afore mentioned,
From the losses that occur,
From the happiness we experience,
From the joy that happens,
From the cloud dissolving away,
From the events turning around.
We love,
Our friends,
Our family,
Our beleifs,
Our opinions,
And eventually,
Our life.
We experience,
The joys,
The possibilities,
The options,
The curiousity,
The greatness that is,
And will be.
We infer,
What we'll eat,
Where we'll sleep,
Who we'll meet,
How we'll meet ,
When we'll meet,
Why we'll meet.
We live,
With each other,
Or without each other,
Happily,
Or not so happily,
But all that matters is,
We live.
Yet, the most important thing,
The thing the connects all this hoopla,
The thing that makes this possible,
The thing that makes this true,
The thing that makes this a problem,
But at the same time, makes it a solution,
Is that we express.
So, no matter the losses,
No matter the judgments,
No matter the saddness,
No matter the experiences,
No matter the questions
No matter what,
We express.
