We Are the Real Deal

We Are the Real Deal

I am not perfect

Really, who in the world is?

The photoshopped girls

In teen magazines?

Their thigh gaps and twelve inch waists

Just fake perfection.

I am the real deal.

Dark or light-haired, young or old,

Thin or overweight,

All scream perfection.

Beauty cannot be measured

In inches or pounds.

But what is inside

Truly makes a girl special.

And the little things

That shine out of us;

A sense of humor, sweet eyes,

Cute feet or nice hair,

There is something different

In every girl

That makes her perfect.

All women are beautiful;

We are the real deal.
