We Are Just Like You

The nicest girl in school,

Laughs at all your jokes.

Has a perfect family,

A home to call her own.

When she is in bed,

She cries herself to sleep.

The shyest guy around,

Popular jock,

grade A.

No one sees under sleeves,

scars last for months.

Slowely drifts away,

from school, work, and pay.

Not everyone is perfect,

Not everyone is clean.

We have our flaws,

We have our troubles.

The most important thing,

We still need your help.

Check in for clarity,

Support with love.

Remember,

We are just like you.

One thing different,

Emotions running free.

Knowing they are there will help us keep our sanity!
