The Way You Love Me

"I have never felt this way"

I believed you

"You're the first thing I think of in the day"

But you said that to another, that's my cue

But I give you another chance

You tell me getting intimate means we love one another

I say I'm not ready, let's just dance

You say you don't know why you bother

I begin to fear,

I don't want to lose you

I pass you the beer

Get you the remote too

Tell me to cook

I just want to rest

"You're just as useless as a book"

I feel like I'm taking a test

It's so hard

I can't anymore

I leave a goodbye card

You didn't love me more

You didn't love me at all

Now it's over

Didn't even call

Never told me you loved me sober

I never felt this way
