The Way of the Wind

Location

The Santa Ana winds roll in every year.

They go about making things dusty and dry.

They are strong and forceful but there's no need to fear.

They persuade the dust of the Earth to make you cry.

There's no real reason to be afraid,

The winds will come and go.

They arrive around the time of the Rose Parade

And they can't hear you when you're yelling "No!".

So always remember to respect the wind.

It keeps our ecosystems alive and well.

It spreads the seeds of flowers and pollen

While always inclined to ring a bell.

Love the wind as you would a sister.

Respect the wind as someone you would call, Mister.
