It Is what It Is

          The way I feel about life

          Is like the way I feel about money

          I keep the personal life out of sight

          Truth be told we can’t take it with us honey

I always wondered what the future would be like   for me

But honestly I already know

I’m going to be wealthy, a smart business woman and a leader just wait and see

So much on my mind I’m going to overflow

It hurts me to know that this world can be so beautiful at times

Then next thing you know you know, you can see a dead body on a street

It’s going to be mine

That bright future, I got to get away from all this distraught, all the cheats

But I honestly know it is what it is

It’s just is what it is
