Watching

Location

The day has come now,

We are human machines:

Fuctioning, blind, and rusting.

Watch us as our mechanical hands screeching

Watch us as our day comes to an end

Watch us as our eyes and mouths rust shut

Watch them drowning in pools of black oil

Watch them obsessing over every last drop.

Watch them choking on it while we rust.

Tomorrow will come,

we are humans:

smiling, helping, growing.

Save those who are rusting.

Help those who are drowning.

Enjoy the love in their blood.

But for now we are machines,

Because Tomorrow doesnt come from watching.
