Warrior Blood

I am resilience.

My skin is made of steel

And my eyes throw flames

I repel the demons that try to get inside.

I am strength.

With the world on my shoulders

And responsibilities weighing my fists to the ground,

I raise my head higher and soar.

I am grit.

When time is against me

And my eyelids feel sewn shut

I march on.

I am brave.

I confront difficulties and pain with an iron whip.

I thrust my shoulders back and release myself

I am a warrior.
