Wanderlust

Don't ask me if we are simply stuck in wanderlust with some idea of love. Darling, we are stronger than lust.

I know because every time I look at you the butterflies swarm the pit of my stomach.

I look into your eyes and see the fiery beauty of a super nova. Your touch is electricity sparked from

somewhere within us. In your arms I feel like we are one, sheltered from falling skies.  I adore how your head rests perfectly in the crook of my neck, your soft breath tickling my skin. The sound of your heart racing and your low moans echoing against the walls  when we make love have become my favorite melody. The times when you're angry and your hair falls carelessly into your face, which is a bright red, you look the most beautiful. When we're at an art show and you stare and ponder at a piece I prefer to look at you because no mastered brush strokes can compare to your brown hair that cascades  like tumbling waves. Your smile holds a powerful reign over me, I'd fall to my knees everyday just to see it.

You call me an idiot, but its only because you fail to grasp the infinite reasons why I love waking up next to you. But babygirl there's no place in the universe I’d rather be than right next to you. Don't patronize, lust is lost between the dust and light of the galaxy and our love will continue to burn along with the stars
