A wandering world

I want to go, simple as that.

From forested lands to earthen flats.

to sail over seas and soar in skies,

I want to know what swims and flies,

I want to know what crawls as well,

and even the immobile who continue to swell.

I need to know the people as well,

who connect the earth to heaven or hell,

to see it in roots, and stone and soot,

to see health in webs and rabbit's foot.

I need to know the world I see.

So the visions of others may come to me.
