The Wall

Society.

Supposed being.

Supposed way.

Action.

Expectation,

Contemplation,

Judgement,

Wall.

You expect of me.

You ask of me.

You suppose who I will be,

the way I live.

You think you know the things I am,

categorizing,

classifying,

grading, grouping.

You designate,

order, arrange,

sort.

You don’t know.

Fear.

Anxiety.

Protection, defense.

I put up my walls,

you think you see through my walls, but you don’t.

I expect of you.

I ask of you.

I suppose who you will be,

the way you live.

I think I know the things you are,

categorizing, classifying,

grading,

grouping.

I designate in my mind,

order, arrange,

sort.

I don’t know.

Unknown stories.

Unknown experiences.

Judging before knowing.

Thinking before understanding.

We all have walls.

We don’t know.

Society.

Social anxiety.

Conform to that society.

Bend to that anxiety.

Supposed being,

Supposed way.

Expectations,

Contemplations,

Judgement Day.

We social creatures,

we desire love,

acceptance.

We animals,

we fear,

we put up walls.

Where will we journey?

What will we learn?

When will we be?

We won’t know.
