Walking through the woods

Walking through the woods
Feeling so intoxicated today
The sun is shining brightly
Blessing me, with its beautiful rays
I play pictionary with the clouds
Trying to hear what they have to say
Until they float on by
And we tread our separate ways

Rain begins to fall from the sky
I hear peoples happiness melt
But the rain brought sounds and smells
That were the very best I've ever felt
Whats forgotten after youth
Is that every day is good
Every day is beautiful
Only to some misunderstood

The sun shares it's warmth
The wind feels rejuvenating on my skin
The birds sing so beautifully
As the flowers bloom again
Sometimes the pieces just seem to fit
And the puzzle turns out right
Hard to believe the feeling of invincibility
Gained from just a little sunlight

The grass smells fresh cut
And the sky's a deeper shade of blue
Reminding me that I can endure
Any hardship I'm put through
Days like this don't just happen
They're gods gift from time to time
To let you know your not forgotten
In fact, your always on his mind
This poem is about:
Me
Our world
