Walking Beauty

At first I was lost at words.

Words to describe such beauty I’ve seen.

Her looks and movements were unreal. I asked myself, “Who is this being?”

Because I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

From your skin as dark as chocolate.

To your lips as pink as the flares of a rocket.

Your very presence fills me with ease.

I continue to ask myself, “Who could this be?”

One with such poise, such elegance, this was truly a queen walking among simple beings.

But, then she met a young king.

With simple looks, and always in his books.

Never would’ve he known that she would fall for his looks.

With a simple hello that started it all.

Something, neither foresaw.

Pretty good piece. I challenge you to write what happens after and to elaborate on the words you were lost for. During this experience of being with her, did you find them? Is she what love looks like?
