Walking after or walking in

Galatians 5:25                       New English Translation

25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also behave in accordance with the Spirit.

Jude 20                   New English Translation

20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith, by praying in the Holy Spirit,

Walking after and trying to catch up

Walking after the Spirit means a constant movement

Coming to a standstill is the same as falling back

On the pathway that is leading to God’s “Will“ for my being

Giving up all that is mine as faith seems built on that

What is there to give, “called mine”? My thoughts and my wishes?

Some of these would burn in the Spirit, and some blaze in the soul

At times it’s seemingly impossible to differentiate between these two

That’s when I’m standing still instead of moving towards God’s goal

Walking in the Spirit on the way from the Cross

That is where we see the pathway of our call

It is not too complicated as even children understand

The source of Love available; the gift from “The All in all.
