Walk Away

I am the picture of a stereotype

I must have been

I was called "vampire" in school, after all

I am a spitting image of the girl you picture

If I explained myself to you

There are so many variations of who I could be

What I could look like

But you pick me

And perhaps I should be flattered

But I'm not

Because with every stare I don't receive

I feel more and more like the average girl I don't want to be

And if you ask me to be someone I'm not

I will walk away

And I won't look back

If not looking over my shoulder is the way out of Hell

I won't take a second glance

And waste my only chance

Of escaping you
