Waking up after a good sleep ...

Proverbs 3:21-24 21 My child, do not let them escape from your sight;
safeguard sound wisdom and discretion.
22 So they will give life to you,
and grace to adorn your neck.
23 Then you will walk on your way with security,
and you will not stumble.
24 When you lie down you will not be filled with fear;
when you lie down your sleep will be pleasant.
  Waking

Waking up after a good sleep ... in a world of confusion

why did not the sleep go on ... and saved me from the day?

It is said I need too ... for in that is life’s passion.

I am not too sure of that ... could there be another way?

“Asleep” in Christ is life forever ... for in sleep death rules not.

Maybe awake is more the picture ... of how far we strayed from God?

In my sleep do I keep sinning ... is that where I scheme the wrong

or is that the place to show me ... where I deep in truth belong?

So “Rest in Peace” is not a statement ... unless stamped upon the heart

not at the end but the beginning ... preventing my life to fall apart.
