Waking Up

Have you ever started to fall?

And you realize that you’re falling

And you know if you don’t catch yourself soon enough; it’ll turn into crawling.

Crawling endlessly, until you just stop moving.

Left to find that the only thing you’re doing is disproving.

Disproving all your limits

Disproving all your will

Disproving all of your values.

Until you’ve reached a stand still.

But I will not let that happen.

I will not take that path.

I will stop this bad habit before I see its real wrath.

And I will not let weakness overpower me

I will use my knowledge to help set me free

Of all things anchoring me or keeping me in place

I will be victorious and never a disgrace.
