Waiting

Long have I waited
for my love true
lend me your hand
turn my black skies blue
caught in the rain
wash my tears gone
make vows in vain
heart turned to stone
Where? Where? Where can you be?
Lost, lost, lost unto me.
Darling my darling
come hear my pleas
thrown into life
with no guarantees
Eyes which lack luster
soul ripped and torn
grey winds that bluster
a cold child is born
