Wandering in the wasteland

Thinking I was all alone

Was wondering for days

Days of unbearable loneliness

That was till I saw you

You showed me all these things I never knew about myself

Showed me this wasn’t a waste land after all

Showed me things

I could’ve never discovered on my own

Where I could learn to grow

And be myself

No matter who that is

You brought me to a place

Where everyone understands

I’m just trying to be whoever I really am
