I'm a voice for those who have no choice
they surrounded hounded by demons
when I found them
I called out their name
I released their inner pain
by speaking about mine
with no shame
so when it's time to break the chains
they could escape to a better place
I’ve been left to remain
longer than most
I'm constantly making contact with my ghost
only to recognize it much quicker
easier than to let go
