I am John Daniel Gresham

I am not perfect, far from it in fact.

I am a sinner, and I'm a teenager.

I  am a rebel with no cause.

I make good friends, and I also make bad friends. 

Because of the bad friends I've made, I get influenced.

By being influenced, I make mistakes

I make mistakes, which lead to scars.

I have scars, which remind me of the second chances I've been given.

With those second chances, I "take initiative", and "start over".

This is life, this is me.
