Veterans of 1914

Tue, 11/17/2015 - 23:22 -- Nahiya

Life in the battle was never easy
But life at home wasn't either
Physically and emotionally wounded
We were forced to adapt to civilans
normality
With no support from the government
It was a maze with every job rejection
We wondered wheather our servic was for nothing
as our souls begin to rotten
At the end of this dark tunnal
We finally found our rights as the G.I bill was
Our light.
