The road before him

Is straight

Raised calf high above the ground

A mountainous cloud before him

So soft

Wide enough to anticipate his fall

But not his failure

Such abject failure

To negate all succss-

Prevent future happiness; fulfillment

He starts boldly

For to start any other way is to invite failure.

Wind whooshes

Steps dig deepr

Deeper

Quicker pats

Lift off!

He is no longer a man

Something more?

-For others to decide.

Time stops

He. Stopped. It.

The possibilities of the universe!

All open to him

To him

For him

By him

Such wonders which require wondering and contemplation

An answer could come to him and emerge gasping for air

Like he is now- time has started a sec ago- gasping as he fails

It is not abject failure

For he has an answer inside him

Though not for the question he pondered.
