For Us Love Is Death
I stared longingly,
As she sat across from me.
Now she's gone and no one seems to care
I stood over there,
My face red in shame.
Why won't these strange feelings die in vein.
Now I'm on my own,
Caught up in the flame.
I feel like I'm both falling and I'm chained.
Please belive me,
She's not to blame.
It's all my own; what do you have to gain?
As the darkness comes,
Her words seem to grow,
"Dear love I've told my 'sins' so you they'll spare"
