Ladies and Gentlemen,
Sit in your seats,
For you are about to read a great play,
Of nothing but deceit:

We push the people we don’t understand,
We drown in our sorrows,
Yet extend our helping hand,

Because we care,
And we don’t care,
About who you are and what you do,
And why of all people we should include you,
In our misery,
In our pretentious lives.

Prove to us,
Just how divine you are,
But be careful,
You might cross the line just a bit too far.

You’ll become your own court jester,
Laughing at just how pathetic you are,
For wanting to fit in,
For wanting to be,
Just,
Like,
Us.
