Uplifting Me

Location

FAFa    Families accepting kids who aren't blood related, that uplifts me. A "mother" who doesn't hug me, that brings me down. A woman whom I barely know, gave me her shoulder to cry on, that uplifts me. A "mother" who won't take their kid out of public school when they're bullied, that breaks me down. A woman, whom I'm starting to like, takes me in, and tells me she loves me, that uplifts me. A "mother" who says that I'm a mistake, that shatters my existance. A woman whom I call mom is teaching me things I never knew about my self, telling me that I'm a great kid, and she loves me like I'm her own, that helps me soar. A "mother" who is jealous because I call her by her first name instead of mom, that deos nothing. The woman I know call mommy, isn't blood related, but she's more of a family to me than my own. That uplifts me. She uplifts me. Her kindness uplifts me.
