Untitled no.2

Location

You are the wind that pulls sails

in never ending tempests.

You are the smile that spreads across my face

like red wine on a white tablecloth.

You are the light that illuminates

dark catacombs of despondency,

and fills the hearts void of love of many.

You are deliciously intoxicating liquor,

velvet soft to touch.

Boundless warmth and joy you own,

and a pair of effervescent eyes as well.

You are the mighty ocean that draws me

into crystal, blue pools of mystique.

You are the darling blue jay

that chirps about outside.

Your arms the blanket

that warm my clod, winter night.

You are the ribbon that ties presents so neatly.

The hug that embraces my defeatist self.

The oak that stands tall

and supports my prematurely senile spirit.

Hope s what you bestow upon

those graced by your presence.

You are a limitless horizon.
