Untitled Insecurity

Wed, 05/15/2013 - 01:01 -- am271

For a long time I was bound to pride masked in insecurity & timidity.
Now when I enter a room it is “all eyes on me”
And it’s not because I’m some “tall, cool drink of water.”
But because I stand tall to exhibit the artistry of His Majesty;
I was fearfully & wonderfully made
And I am not ashamed of the Gospel

When I enter into conversations I find people giving me their confessions
And in return I find my spirit pouring out the sum of my life’s lessons
I have a testimony, and I freely share it because I am not ashamed of the Gospel

I was blind; I was deaf.
I was steadily sinning; I was a mess.
Now I can see, & I can hear
My purpose of being is now crystal clear
I must go out; my joy must be shared;
Acts 2:38 shall be declared.
I will do so with gladness because when I was doomed,
The Lord heard the prayers of my youth;
He broke every yoke, he set me free with the Truth!
